Cometic Ford 4.6L V-8 Right Side 92MM .070 inch MLS-5 Head Gasket

Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.070". Right Side. Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements. Ford 4.6/5.4L Modular V8 .070in. MLS Cylinder Head Gasket; 92mm Bore; RHS Ford 4.6L V8
  • The embossed outer layers of the gaskets meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes
  • The center or shim layer is an uncoated stainless steel layer which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements
  • Requires less clamp load creating less bore distortion
  • Conforms load distribution across the sealing area
  • Embossed Outer Layers Coated w/Viton

The Cometic Gasket Ford 4.6L V8 Right Side 92MM MLS head gasket is engineered to deliver superior sealing performance for high-output engines. Crafted from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, this gasket features outer layers coated with Viton rubber, which is heat resistant up to 482°F, ensuring durability under demanding conditions. The compressed operating thickness of this gasket is 0.070 inches, making it suitable for various high-performance applications. The design allows for optimal load distribution and requires less clamp load, reducing bore distortion and promoting consistent sealing across the cylinder head and block interface. This gasket is compatible with both aluminum and cast iron engine components, offering versatility and reliable sealing in diverse engine configurations. Its multilayer steel construction provides increased strength, rebound resistance, and corrosion protection, making it well-suited for high-stress environments. The uncoated stainless steel center layer can be customized to meet specific thickness requirements, providing flexibility for engine builders. This gasket is specifically designed for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L modular V8 engines, including the 92mm bore variant, ensuring a precise fit and optimal performance. Its embossed outer layers meet the demands of harsh sealing environments, while the Viton coating enhances resistance to heat and chemical exposure, making it ideal for high-performance, high-temperature applications. The gasket requires no additional sealants, simplifying installation and maintenance, and is engineered to withstand the shearing forces created by different engine materials. This product is an essential component for ensuring reliable sealing in high-output Ford V8 engines, providing peace of mind during demanding driving or racing conditions.
