Vibrant Performance Braided Flex Hoses are available in Stainless Steel and Nylon braided covers which provide excellent abrasion resistance and surrounds a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner. Our Braided Flex Hoses are suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant and vacuum service. Also suitable for E85 and methanol use but fumes will permeate through this type of hose when fuel is left stagnant for long periods of time. See our PTFE Flex Hose for extended E85 and methanol use. These hoses are NOT suitable for use as brake lines or other hydraulic pressure lines, nor are they suited for extended submersion in fuel or oil (not recommended for in-tank applications). Operating temperature range: -40 Degrees F to 300 Degrees F (-40 Degrees C to 150 Degrees C).

The Vibrant VIB11982R Nylon Braided Flex Hose is designed for dependable fluid routing in automotive and performance applications. This 20-foot roll features a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner surrounded by a durable two-tone black and red nylon braid. The braided cover helps provide excellent abrasion resistance while maintaining flexibility for clean, efficient installation around engine bays and other demanding areas.
Suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum service, this -12 AN hose is also compatible with E85 and methanol applications when used appropriately. Fuel fumes may permeate through the hose if E85 or methanol remains stagnant for extended periods. For prolonged E85 or methanol service, Vibrant recommends using a PTFE Flex Hose instead. This hose is not intended for brake lines, hydraulic pressure lines, extended submersion in fuel or oil, or in-tank applications.
The hose operates across a broad temperature range from -40°F to 300°F, making it suitable for a variety of street, racing, and custom automotive projects.
