The sPOD BantamX Universal Touchscreen Control System, part spoBXTSBUNI36, provides a clean, efficient way to power and control 12-volt or 24-volt accessories without cutting, fishing wires into the cab, or tapping into the vehicle’s factory electrical system. Designed for off-road vehicles, work trucks, emergency equipment, and other applications with multiple accessories, this compact digital control system helps reduce wiring and installation time while providing flexible placement options. The package includes a universal touchscreen controller and 36-inch battery cables for a streamlined installation.
The BantamX features eight programmable output circuits rated up to 30 amps each at 12.5 volts DC, with a 16-position terminal block for convenient accessory connections and an eight-position input terminal block for output control. Two RJ45 controller ports support Ethernet cable connections, while built-in Bluetooth enables wireless control through the free sPOD Mobile App. Up to four BantamX units can be daisy chained and operated from one touchscreen, making the system suitable for expanded accessory setups. Each switch can be programmed for dimming, strobe, flash, momentary operation, switch linking, and on-road functionality.
Safety and reliability are built into the sPOD BantamX design. Current-sensing MOSFETs controlled by a microprocessor replace conventional relays and fuses, while failsafe self-healing fault protection helps protect against over-current conditions and short circuits. Additional protection includes overheating, reverse polarity, field collapse, and low-voltage battery protection with an optional override. The system also includes ignition control and an optional safety lockout for switches one and two, along with a 100-amp inline fuse and an ATM mini-style fuse for low-voltage cutoff protection and reset.
The weather-resistant hardware package includes a powder-coated steel base, insulated cover, silicone gasket, aluminum lid with thumb-screw fastening, and silkscreened outlines for legend placement. Universal and vehicle-specific mounting options support a clean installation in a variety of applications. Wireless software updates and upgrades help keep the system current, while the robust construction is designed for demanding automotive environments.
