The patented Modular XHD Snorkel System from Rugged Ridge relocates the vulnerable stock air intake location to help reduce dust clogged filters and the risk of hydro-locking your engine. This snorkel is the first snorkel designed with the modular functionality of a Pre-filter Low Mount and Ram High Mount air intake design. Unlike other snorkels, you do not have to give up flexibility for functionality. Not only did we engineer our snorkel to allow the windshield to fold and doors to be removed, we built it for use with our dual battery tray, windshield light bar and windshield light mounting tabs, because what good is having a snorkel to cross the river, if you have to leave your lights and the dual battery (to power your Winch) on the other side? The Rugged Ridge XHD Modular Snorkel System helps protect your Jeep Wrangler engine when off-road driving exposes the vehicle to dust, water, and challenging trail conditions. By relocating the vulnerable factory air intake position, this system helps reduce the chance of clogged air filters and hydro-locking caused by water entering the intake. Part 17756.20 includes both low-mount pre-filter and high-mount ram air intake configurations, giving you the flexibility to adapt the snorkel to different driving environments.
Designed for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler applications, the modular system supports continued vehicle functionality during demanding trail use. Its design accommodates a folding windshield and removable doors, while remaining compatible with select windshield light bars, light mounting tabs, and dual battery tray setups. Windshield light mounting tabs are compatible with the low-mount configuration only. The included intake options allow you to select the setup that best suits your vehicle and off-road requirements without sacrificing essential accessories.
