RaceQuip Black L & L 6pt Seat Belt

RaceQuip's Latch & Link 6-point auto racing harness set has twin individual shoulder belts and is manufactured using premium 3" polyester webbing and drop forged steel hardware to exceed the SFI 16.1 rating. Shoulders adjust from 20" to 62" and the lap belt adjusts from 20" to 60". All RaceQuip 712 series belts come as a "pull down lap" design, which means that the lap belts must be pulled down and away from the center latch & link buckle mechanism to tighten. All RaceQuip Latch & Link motorsports harness sets are distinguished by a pivoting "hammer," called a Duckbill, which is located on the lap belt and locks all the belts into place by snapping down into a detent. Both shoulder belts and the dual sub-belt are hooked over the link; the link is inserted into the latch on the lap belt; the Duckbill is then brought down into and over the link, securely holding all the pieces in place. Since RaceQuip seat belt sets are "double adjustable", lengths are simply adjusted on either end for ease of installation. Using the included three bar slide you can mount the belts by either wrapping them around a rollbar or by bolting them in place with the supplied ends (bolts not included). The RaceQuip 712 Series 6-point racing harness is designed for motorsports applications requiring secure driver restraint and dependable adjustment. This black harness set uses premium 3-inch polyester webbing for the lap and shoulder belts, along with a dual 2-inch sub-belt and drop-forged steel hardware engineered to exceed the SFI 16.1 rating. Twin individual shoulder belts provide a separate fit on each side, while the pull-down lap belt design allows the lap belts to be tightened by pulling them down and away from the center latch-and-link buckle mechanism.
The RaceQuip Latch & Link system features a pivoting hammer-style Duckbill on the lap belt. To secure the harness, the shoulder belts and dual sub-belt are hooked over the link, the link is inserted into the lap-belt latch, and the Duckbill is snapped down into its detent. This design locks the belts together while allowing efficient entry and release in a racing environment. Double-adjustable belts make installation and fitment easier by allowing adjustment at both ends of the harness.
The included three-bar slides support wrap-around mounting on a roll bar or bolt-in installation using the supplied hardware ends; mounting bolts are not included. Snap-hook ends and eyebolts are sold separately for alternate installation configurations. Shoulder belt adjustment ranges from 20 to 62 inches, while the lap belt adjusts from 22 to 60 inches. This RaceQuip harness is intended for closed-course motorsports use and is not D.O.T. or FMVSS certified for on-highway use.
