The Peterson Fluid Systems PFS09-1522 Primer Filter Mount provides a convenient way to prime an engine using a standard drill. Its integrated primer pump uses the unique R4 rotor design to build up to 20 psi of oil pressure in as little as 10 seconds, helping circulate oil throughout the lubrication system before startup. Pre-oiling the engine helps protect bearing surfaces and reduce wear during initial operation.
Constructed from billet aluminum, this compact filter mount includes -12AN port fittings and is configured for left-to-right flow. The mount is designed for tube, firewall, or tank installation, making it suitable for a range of performance automotive oiling system layouts. The assembly accepts a System 1 post and combines filtration with convenient drill-driven engine priming.
The Peterson Fluid Systems Primer Filter Mount is supplied as the small filter mount with primer and System 1 post configuration.
