Flowmaster 68-72 GM A-BODY 3 IN Tailpipes

These Builder Series tailpipes are constructed from 3.00-inch mandrel-bent 16-gauge aluminized steel tubing for maximum flow, tuck up high in the chassis for good clearance and exit straight-out the back under the rear bumper. Designed to be used with Side Inlet/Opposite Side Outlet mufflers such as part# 943048 (Super 44 Series) or 53058 (Super 50 Series) mufflers. Covered by our 3-year Limited Warranty. Flowmaster Builder Series tailpipes, Part Number 15818, are designed for 1968-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, including Buick Special, Buick Sportwagon, and Pontiac Tempest applications. Constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel tubing, these tailpipes use mandrel-bent construction to support smooth exhaust flow and consistent performance. The 3-inch tubing is engineered for use with side-inlet/opposite-side-outlet mufflers, including Flowmaster Super 44 Series Part Number 943048 and Super 50 Series Part Number 53058.
The tailpipes tuck high around the rear differential to provide improved chassis clearance and exit straight out beneath the rear bumper. Their configuration is designed for double-offset mufflers and offers a clean, performance-oriented exhaust routing solution for compatible GM A-Body builds. These tailpipes are not designed to fit factory bumper cutouts, and some vehicle-specific adjustment or fitment work may be required during installation.
