Flowmaster 68-72 GM A-BODY 3.0in. American Thunder Crossmember-Back Exhaust System

This Crossmember-Back American Thunder system is custom designed for high horsepower and large cubic inch engines in 1968-1972 GM A-Bodies with a V8 engine. It's a true-dual exhaust system featuring all mandrel-bent 3.00-inch aluminized steel tubing with a built-in H-pipe crossover assembly flowing into a pair of large cased Super 40 Series performance mufflers for maximum power and a deep powerful aggressive exhaust note. The large 3.00-inch mandrel-bent tailpipes are custom bent to tuck up high above the rear end and exit with a slight turn down under the rear bumper. The system is constructed from aluminized steel and includes all necessary hardware and hangers for installation and is covered by our 3-year Limited Warranty. The Flowmaster 17200 American Thunder Crossmember-Back Exhaust System is designed for high-horsepower and large-displacement V8 engines in 1968-1972 GM A-Body vehicles. This true-dual exhaust system uses large 3.00-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing to support strong exhaust flow while providing a deep, powerful, aggressive exhaust tone. The system is engineered to replace the exhaust components behind the crossmember and includes a built-in H-pipe crossover for improved balance, performance, and sound quality.
A pair of cased Flowmaster Super 40 Series performance mufflers delivers the signature deep tone associated with the American Thunder line. Custom-bent tailpipes route high above the rear axle and exit with a slight turn-down beneath the rear bumper for a clean, functional fit. Constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, the system includes the necessary hangers and installation hardware. It is covered by Flowmaster's 3-year Limited Warranty.
This exhaust system fits select 1968-1972 Buick Special, Buick Sportwagon, and Pontiac Tempest applications with V8 engines. Header reducer cones and downpipes required to connect the system to headers or factory exhaust manifolds are not included. Verify vehicle configuration and exhaust connection requirements before installation.
