This Crossmember-Back American Thunder system is custom designed for high horsepower and large cubic inch engines in 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebirds with a V8 engine. It's a true-dual exhaust system featuring all mandrel-bent 3.00-inch aluminized steel tubing with a built-in H-pipe crossover assembly flowing into a pair of large cased Super 40 Series performance mufflers for maximum power and a deep powerful aggressive exhaust note. The large 3.00-inch mandrel-bent tailpipes are custom bent to tuck up high above the rear end and exit with a slight turn down at the quarter panels behind the rear wheels. The system is constructed from aluminized steel and includes all necessary hardware and hangers for installation. Covered by our 3-year Limited Warranty. Fits 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, 3.0 inch Aluminized Pipes - Aggressive sound Does not fit convertibles without an X-brace modification. The brace will need to be shimmed down enough to clear the new exhaust pipes.

This crossmember-back system provides a true-dual exhaust configuration with large 3.00-inch tubing, an H-pipe crossover, and cased Super 40 Series mufflers for improved exhaust flow, a deep tone, and an aggressive exterior sound.
Constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, the system uses mandrel-bent tubing to help maintain consistent internal diameter throughout the exhaust path. The custom-bent tailpipes tuck high above the rear axle and exit with a slight turn-down behind the rear wheels at the quarter panels. Included hangers and hardware simplify installation, while the 3-year limited warranty provides added confidence in the system’s long-term performance.
This Flowmaster American Thunder system fits 1967, 1968, and 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird V8 applications. It does not include header reducers or downpipes for factory manifolds. Convertible models require an X-brace modification; the brace must be shimmed downward as needed to provide clearance for the exhaust pipes.
