Dinan Iridium Spark Plugs are an excellent upgrade for tuned, and even stock engines, where applicable.* Our spark plugs are made from Iridium - one of the strongest materials available. They last longer than other materials with higher melting points, run cooler, resist preignition, and even require less voltage to produce a strong spark. The iridium electrode with its copper core is harder and stronger than other materials, can dissipate heat more easily, and is better protected from melting, cracking, and other limitations found with standard plugs. N20/N54/N55/S55/N63/N63TU/S63/S63TU Always check sizes, gap, and heat range specs before installing. Installation of the wrong length plug can cause damage to the engine. You must verify this before installing the plug.

The copper-core iridium electrode also promotes efficient heat dissipation, resists melting and cracking, and requires less voltage to produce a strong spark.
Designed for BMW N20, N54, N55, S55, N63, N63TU, S63, and S63TU engines where applicable, this heat range 9 plug provides a cooler operating temperature than many original-equipment plugs and improved resistance to preignition. Its optimized electrode design supports hard-to-ignite fuels, including ethanol, making it a suitable choice for performance builds and tuned applications. The plug is also an excellent match for Dinan ignition coils.
The Dinan DNN D640-0002 is one step colder than OEM on the N20, S55, N63, and S63 engines; two steps colder on the N55; and three steps colder on the N54. It features a ceramic insulator, projected insulator design, flat seat, nut-style terminal, and 14mm bi-hex configuration. Installation torque is 17 Nm, and the supplied gap is 0.5mm. Always verify the required plug length, gap, and heat range for your specific engine before installation. Using an incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage. Made in the EU and sold individually.
