Almost all street cars come from the manufacturer with an anti-roll bar as it is a common part of modern suspension systems. However, they are designed to be overly soft for maximum comfort. An anti-roll bar does exactly what it says by reducing body roll in all situations. Every Dinan tuned anti-roll bar is built and tuned specifically for each BMW chassis. Lowering the amount of body roll keeps your BMW more level than stock (while still allowing just enough body roll) to improve mechanical grip. This improvement gives the driver a much more planted and confident feeling in every corner. The Dinan D120-0585 adjustable sway bar set is engineered for BMW F22, F23, F30, F32, F33 and F36 chassis applications. Most street cars use anti-roll bars designed primarily for comfort, which can allow excessive body roll during cornering. Dinan develops each anti-roll bar specifically for the intended BMW chassis, reducing roll while preserving enough suspension movement to maintain mechanical grip and predictable handling.
This set includes a large tubular front sway bar and rear sway bar, each featuring three adjustment holes for customized suspension balance. The front bar measures 28 mm in diameter, compared with approximately 21.2 to 24.2 mm for the original equipment bar depending on application. The rear bar measures 19 mm, compared with approximately 12 to 15 mm for the original equipment bar. The hollow construction helps provide a strong and effective upgrade while offering a wide range of adjustment.
Installation of the Dinan D120-0585 helps the vehicle remain more level through corners, improving stability at the limit and giving the driver a more planted, confident feel.
