The DFC 90-24 International DURAStar Parking Brake Shoes are engineered for select International and Navistar commercial vehicles equipped with disc brakes. Part number DFC1902-1068-00 fits applications including 1990–2017 International/Navistar 3000, 3200, 3600, 3700, 3800, 3900FC school buses and 4100, 4200, 4300, 4400, 4600, 4700, 4800, 4900, and 7100 conventional cab models. The shoes are manufactured from 100% new carbon steel and treated with high-temperature anti-rust corrosion-resistant black paint for dependable service in demanding commercial vehicle environments. DFC field- and laboratory-tests its brake components to help ensure consistent reliability and long-lasting performance. The semi-metallic friction material is designed to provide stable braking characteristics for parking brake applications.
Each shoe uses a specialized glue lining treatment to promote a secure bond between the friction material and steel backing.
