This is the perfect intake upgrade for the Audi A4 and A5 (B9) with the 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines. It flows 46% more than stock, reduces pressure drop, and improves turbocharger efficiency. This directly translates to more horsepower and torque making this a simple upgrade for more power you can feel, and does so at an incredible value.Our system is a full upgrade as it replaces all of the intake components from the inlet scoop all the way to the turbo inlet. Our system is made from PEX and looks great under the hood, matching the texture of other components. By using this material we are able to make the wall-thickness of the tubes small, maximizing the internal diameter, increasing performance even more! The material also allows us to make complex organic shapes necessary when working in a tight engine bay.The airbox is fed from an inlet scoop that maximizes the flow path into the airbox. The airbox has cutouts allowing for additional flow paths directed away from the engine. This keeps air temps down, and increases sound without it being overbearing. Furthermore we've incorporated at T304 stainless steel heatshield to keep hot engine bay heat from the turbocharger away from the airbox. The filter is massive as well. A big filter is desirable as increasing filtered surface area keeps the filter breathing easily for many miles as it filters dirt, dust, and particles. It measures 7" by 7" with a 5.5" frontal inlet, and a 4" outlet. The filter media is a washable pleated cotton gauze that can be cleaned for extended life, or replaced with ease.Our kit includes everything you need to bolt on and go. No new tuning is needed to run this product, and the product is emissions friendly. We include all new clamps needed for an easy install. Upgrade the induction system on your compatible Audi B9 with the APR CI100044 PEX Intake System. Designed for the 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines, this complete system replaces the inlet scoop, airbox, filter, and turbo inlet piping to improve airflow throughout the intake tract. It flows up to 46% more air than the factory system, reduces pressure drop at the turbocharger, and helps the turbo operate more efficiently for improved throttle response, turbo spool, horsepower, and torque. No new tuning is required, making this a straightforward bolt-on performance upgrade.
The APR intake uses lightweight, durable PEX construction with thin walls that maximize internal diameter while supporting complex shapes required in the Audi engine bay. Its OEM-inspired appearance complements the surrounding components, while the airbox inlet scoop optimizes the airflow path into the filter. Additional airbox cutouts direct fresh air away from engine heat, helping control intake temperatures while producing a more pronounced induction sound without excessive noise. A T304 stainless steel heatshield further separates the airbox from hot turbocharger and engine-bay temperatures.
A large washable pleated cotton gauze filter provides substantial filtration area and supports consistent airflow over extended service intervals. The included filter can be cleaned for extended use or replaced when needed. All required clamps are included for a convenient installation. This APR system is emissions friendly but is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use in all emissions-controlled applications. It fits select 2017-2018 Audi A4 models and 2017-2024 Audi A4 Allroad, A5 Quattro, and A5 Sportback models with compatible EA888 engines. It does not fit vehicles equipped with a MAF sensor on the intake, including applications with DBPA, DMSA, and other listed MAF-equipped engine codes.
