Whether deploying them to wash, or retracting them for off-roading, the switch gives you the flexibility you want in a POWERSTEP. Running Boards will return to Auto Operation in the next door cycle after 30 minutes.

The AMP Research 79107-01A PowerStep Override Switch provides temporary manual control over compatible AMP Research POWERSTEP running boards. Use the switch to deploy the running boards while washing or retract them temporarily for improved ground clearance during off-road driving. This convenient control adds flexibility without permanently changing the system’s automatic operation.
The override switch fits only AMP Research POWERSTEP systems equipped with part number 75141-01A or 75134-01A and connects directly to the existing STB1 controller.
