Upgrade your truck’s AMP Research PowerStep system with the PowerStep Smart Series Running Board Kit, part number AMP86235-01A. Designed for 2017–2019 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty trucks with all cab configurations, this innovative system puts greater control of your electric-powered running boards at your fingertips. Drilling is required for installation.
With the PowerStep Smart Series, you can use the dedicated mobile app to manually override the automatic deployment function and keep the running boards in the up or down position as needed. The app also lets you power the integrated LED lighting system on or off without relying on a separate manual override switch. An auxiliary lighting port is included, allowing you to connect and operate additional LED lights for enhanced visibility around your truck.
The Smart Series features a step profile developed to complement the chiseled styling of newer Ford Super Duty body designs. Mobile applications are available for both iOS and Android devices, providing convenient wireless control from your smartphone. This AMP Research upgrade is made in the USA and backed by a 5-year or 60,000-mile warranty for added confidence. The kit is intended to upgrade a compatible PowerStep system rather than serve as a complete replacement running board assembly.
