This aFe POWER Pro DRY S is a 7-1/2” tall, oil-free, 360-degree radial flow performance air filter with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. Its progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity, while not requiring the use of oils. This media is best suited for street and light off-road use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in more flow and longer service intervals. The included massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. Its open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter, yet creates a heat-blocking seal when the vehicle's hood is closed. It features a built-in ram air scoop that captures additional cool air from behind the front grille. Part number 56-10005D combines a high-flow intake tube, open-element XLPE polymer housing and a washable, reusable Pro DRY S air filter to deliver a streamlined intake path and an aggressive turbo spool sound. Dyno testing demonstrated gains of up to 9 horsepower and 8 lb.-ft. of torque, while the system flows up to 435 CFM at 7 inches of water and outflows the factory intake by 56%.
