This system is superior in every way. From the one-piece sealed housing, to the massive air filter, rotomolded tube premium hardware. Unique One-Piece Housing: The smooth one-piece sealed housing with auxiliary air scoop is used to eliminate the use of multiple-piece housings and ensure the coolest air intake charge available. A urethane plug is also included for those cold weather applications where you want to block the auxiliary air scoop. Roto-molded Tube: This System uses a CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Large 5-Layer Performance Air Filter: This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone inverted top filter has a massive round flange and is 8" tall inverted top Pro 5R media. The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. Premium Hardware: Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps are used to securely mount the high flow air filter to the 1-piece airbox. The one-piece housing and auxiliary air scoop help deliver a cooler, denser intake charge for improved airflow and responsive performance.
The system features a CAD-designed, dyno-tuned roto-molded intake tube engineered for smooth airflow and a precise fit. Its large, washable and reusable Pro 5R performance filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton media to balance high airflow with effective filtration. The inverted-top filter design and specialized filter-to-housing interface maximize available air volume while simplifying installation. A built-in sight window makes it easy to inspect the filter without removing the housing.
Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps provide secure connections, while the streamlined system uses fewer components for a faster installation. No cutting or drilling of factory parts is required, helping preserve the original vehicle hardware. The intake is rated at 450 CFM at 7 in. H2O and can outflow the factory intake by up to 106 percent. A urethane plug is included to block the auxiliary air scoop for cold-weather applications.
