The aFe CONTROL Electronic Shock Delete Module and Ride Height Simulators provide a plug-and-play solution for replacing factory GM MagneRide electronic shock absorbers with aftermarket shocks, coilovers, lowering kits, or lift kits. Designed for select Chevrolet Corvette C7, Chevrolet Camaro, and Cadillac ATS and CTS applications, this system helps preserve normal suspension control operation while preventing warning lights and related performance limitations.
When factory electronic shocks are removed, the vehicle may detect a suspension system fault and illuminate the suspension control warning light. In some applications, a body control module fault can also limit vehicle speed to 80 mph. The aFe CONTROL modules are engineered to bypass these electronic shock signals and simulate the required ride height information, allowing suspension upgrades without triggering error codes or interfering with vehicle operation.
Both the Electronic Shock Delete Modules and Ride Height Simulator Modules are required when replacing GM MagneRide electronic shock absorbers. Using only one module set may cause the suspension control error light to activate. Installation is direct fit and requires no modifications, making the system suitable for professional installers and experienced enthusiasts. GM-style Metri-Pack connectors support a secure factory-style connection, while high-temperature thermal epoxy helps protect the electronics in demanding automotive environments. Proudly made in the USA, the aFe CONTROL solution is designed for select 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7, 2012-2024 Chevrolet Camaro, and 2013-2019 Cadillac ATS and CTS applications.
