AEM CD5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Displays are perfect for flush mount installation or in-dash enclosures with tight tolerances. They include all of the robust features found in the original CD-5 Carbon car dashboard monitors, but do not have buttons or an LED shade hood built into the enclosure. AEM CD5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Displays feature full-color, daylight readable screens surrounded by a slim, tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housings for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. A remote button kit (PN 30-3610, sold separately) easily wires into the CD Carbon wiring harness and allows users to change pages and clear memory. Two additional programmable LEDs are included in the car dashboard monitor's enclosure and are fully programmable Flat Panel Digital Dash Display, CD-5L logging, non-GPS racing dash, CAN input only, 5-inch diagonal screen, carbon fiber enclosure, wiring harness included, Does Not Include Buttons (See PN 30-3610)

The AEM CD-5L Carbon Logging Flush Digital Dash Display, part number 30-5601F, is designed for flush-mount installations and in-dash enclosures with limited clearance. This non-GPS racing dash uses CAN input and features a full-color, daylight-readable display housed in a slim, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite enclosure. The rugged design provides IP66 water resistance for demanding motorsport and automotive applications.

The 5-inch display provides clear, high-contrast information with an 800 x 480 resolution, direct-sunlight readability, and an anti-glare filter. Seven ultra-bright LEDs across the top of the enclosure function as programmable and dimmable RPM indicators or shift lights. Drivers can configure LED activation points and flashing behavior across the selected RPM range. Two additional programmable LEDs support custom alerts or status indications, while two switch inputs can display user-triggered events such as turn signals or high beams.

With CD-5L logging capability, the dash can record supported channels at rates up to 1,000 Hz per channel. It accepts data from AEMnet CAN-enabled devices and compatible non-AEM CAN bus devices, while included page layouts can be customized using AEM DashDesign Graphics Editor software. Seven programmable pages support main displays, alarms, on-change events, and startup information. The dedicated Alarm page, user-defined graphics, warning icons, channel-to-text conversion, and odometer function help provide flexible data presentation for racing and performance vehicles. A wiring harness is included. This display does not include buttons; the AEM Remote Button Kit, part number 30-3610, is sold separately and is required for page changes and memory clearing. Optional CAN modules and adapter cables expand compatibility with factory ECUs, aftermarket ECUs, additional temperature sensors, and other vehicle data sources.
