This high flow, fabricated aluminum intake pipe and air box enclosure with dry filter assembly replaces the restrictive plastic factory parts on your diesel for improved engine performance. All new design significantly increases air flow to your turbo producing improved horsepower and torque, quicker throttle response, and cooler intake temperatures by drawing cold air through the hood Ram Air duct and inner fender. All aluminum construction features large diameter 4" piping with smooth aerodynamic bends to improve intake air velocity, volume, and provide more aggressive engine and turbo sound during acceleration. High quality hardware, silicone boot, seals, and stainless steel t-bolt clamps ensure optimum durability and ease of installation. Removable air box lid elementallows for easy visual inspection and maintenance of your WCFab filter with included hydrophobic pre-filter cover, to help keep your MAF sensor, turbo, and engine airways contaminant free. The critical ram air duct seal has been moved to the bottom of the hood for a clean engine compartment appearance. Upgrade the air intake system on your 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra equipped with the 6.6L Duramax L5P engine with the Wehrli WCF100360-GB Stage 2 Intake Kit. This high-flow system replaces the restrictive factory plastic intake components with a fabricated aluminum intake pipe, enlarged intake horn, enclosed air box, and dry air filter. The design is engineered to improve airflow to the turbocharger, supporting stronger horsepower and torque, sharper throttle response, cooler intake temperatures, and a more aggressive intake and turbo sound under acceleration.
The 4-inch aluminum intake pipe uses smooth, aerodynamic bends to promote efficient air velocity and increased air volume. A 3.5-inch intake horn provides a larger air path than the original equipment design, while the sealed air box draws cooler air through the factory hood ram-air duct and inner fender. The ram-air duct seal is positioned at the bottom of the hood for a clean, factory-style engine compartment appearance. This kit is compatible with stock trucks and requires no tuning or additional modifications for installation.
Durability and serviceability are built into every component. The removable air box lid allows convenient filter inspection and maintenance, while the included Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter cover helps protect the dry filter, MAF sensor, turbocharger, and engine airways from dust and moisture.
